Good food, a little pricy

Great food but they keep over charging me when it comes to the tip.... Twice I've Written the total as an even amount and they use what I wrote in the total as the tip..... Example, I bought soup for 285, to go, she didn't give me any service. I wrote 3.00 on the total and left the tip line blank so she could figure out the difference. Which was only .15 cents. A few days later I noticed on my bank account that they charged me $5.85. Why would I tip 3 dollars on a to go order that took absolutely no effort on her part? Yes some people do that. But I'm only a good tipper when you deserve it... When you actually put effort into your job. So I went back up there that Day which was last Sunday, 9 days ago... The girl said the manager wasn't in she was his sister she would have him call me when he gets back and I still haven't received a call.... Oh I'll still go there for the food but I'm never giving that girl a tip again.... This "misunderstanding " happened to me twice now....

Amazing restaurant! Food is perfect every time. The staff is awesome. I think they are mostly family... and it works! Great time for a family meal!

Absolutely love this place. Food is always delicious and seems to be made with care. Service is always great. Today was exceptionally great. With all this COVID stuff still going on , most restaurants always forget the small things. The lovely staff at Nicks, does not!This is my ‘go-to’ place for an amazing Club Sandwich and fries. If you haven’t been here yet, I highly suggest you try it. Breakfast is also unique and amazing!

We stopped in for Happy hour with some friends and and a great time. Excellent service and food. We'll be back. Keep up the great work.

My husband and I went here on a date 13 years ago, we still come here for dates and enjoying the delicious Greek food! Service is sweet! We plan to come here for another 13 years!

This was my first time at Nick's Country kitchen and I will definitely be going back. Very friendly and courteous work staff. Breakfast was hot and made to order, I asked that my bacon be rubbery...very limp, I ask this for my bacon everywhere and have never received it as I ordered. Well it was just the way I like it. Nick's Family Restaurant is at the top of my list.

I come here for the Chicken Soup! Mmmmm it's so good!

It was a little slow go got are drinks fast then we waited about 10/15 min to have someone come and take are order the manager seen the issue and addressed it got are order in and it was good will be back again

I don't even think this review can convey how great this restaurant is! The food is delicious (Especially the saganaki, the lemon rice soup, and the fries!). Not only that, but I don't think it's possible to leave here hungry. Awesome prices, but I think the best part is that you feel like family here. The service is above and beyond, we never even had to ask for refills. Serving a variety of Greek, Italian, and American that will leave you craving more. My only regret is that I live too far away to come here everyday!

This is our go to breakfast joint. Almost never a wait, great food, great prices, great servers. Freshly remodeled too! Stacked corned beef hash is a house specialty and one of the best breakfasts in the area.

Quick service, family friendly, kind staff, large portions, good food. I highly recommend the Greek Chicken Salad (the dressing was amazing). One kids meal could have been more than enough for both of my toddlers.

I live in Indiana, and visit Michigan often. The one place I always stop at when I am there is Nick's. They have amazing comfort food. Service is fast, and the staff is very nice. Don't leave without some lemon rice soup!

Very busy in the mornings, Saturday worse than Friday. Food was good during both our visits. Crepes are to die for. Some things were less of a hit than others - salad was good but lettuce was dead, omelets are amazing, BLT a little on the hard side, chicken Alfredo is doable. Everyone wears masks and tables are social distanced. Great little breakfast place, happy we came.

I had their coney dogs yesterday. Just sounded good but was not sure if they would be as good as coming from a coney dog place. They were the best I’ve ever had. The seasoning was spot on and their fries are the best as well. Along with the friendly service, I believe I have found my new go to.

I had the meat lover's omelette, it was very good! My hubby had a club sandwich which was good, but had to request mayo. The fries were very good! Our coffee cups were never empty!

I usually love Nicks and have no complaints been going for years. So the fact i need to at all says something. Idk what they did to these ribs or how long they have been sitting around for.Crusty.Dry (even with a decent amount of sauce).Maybe something they dont get alot of orders of. No clue maybe a bad batch. Your reply is sincere thank you.

Best stuffed grape leaves I had in a long time.

It was good, but not perfect. I had a corned beef and Swiss omelette, and my wife had bacon and eggs. She thought the bacon was a little sweet for her taste, but she likes more savory than sweet flavors. The rye toast she ordered was fine, but not the kind of rye she prefers, she prefers more of a Beefsteak style. We were able to sit outside to be more separate from other diners, but there are only 3 or 4 tables that seat 2 people each outside. Just not exactly what our tastes are, but ultimately good food.

My mom and I went here for lunch and were very happy with everything. From the sweet staff having fun with the customers, to the food and fast service. They don't skimp on ingredients. My Reuben was stacked with deliciousness and my mom's yummy blueberry pancakes were loaded with blueberries. We left stuffed and with smiles on our faces.

We have ordered carryout & dined in quite a few times....Absolutely disappointed with our carryout today !! Must be a new cook. Food was undercooked french toast, omelet, bacon and asked for well done hash browns ( that didnt happen)

First time we ate here. Food was good and we filled up on the Senior menu. Wait staff was great and the prices very reasonable. Older restaurant but very clean. Will be back for sure.

Terrible service. Waitress didn't even say hello when she came to the table. Just asked what do you want. We won't be back.As a matter of fact the table in front of us tried to get her attention, and she walked by. He finally got up and refilled his own water.

If you are looking for a quiet friendly place to eat your morning breakfast look no further than nicks country oven. Upon my arrival I was greeted, seated and asked what I would like to drink with quick results. Waiting staff was courteous and professional, and never overly visited. The facility itself was clean and organized and I took notice to the fact that the waiting staff supported each other, no one stood around. My food was fast to deliver and met expectations. Hot food with phenomenal flavor. My coffee was delicious as well. Customized my Skillet based on what I asked for instead of what was on the menu. Asked for gyro Skillet vs Greek Skillet.

I've had several good breakfasts here. Their corned beef hash pancake dish is unusual, but very tasty.

I got a carryout and I was very disappointed. I ordered the spaghetti dinner a different time and told the waitress that it was very dry when I started to eat it last time. This time I asked for more sauce this time. When I opened the container it was very dry and little sauce. It was like eating dry pasta. Very disappointed. I also ordered a club sandwich on wheat and received it on white.Food is better when you eat there.

It's dark and a bit gloomy inside. It was cold, especially the bathrooms (which were not very clean).Waitress was nice. Omelette was very overdone and was basically flat, scrambled eggs with the ingredients mixed in. Hashbrowns were good and the portion size was large.Wouldn't go back.
